e) Checking the rudder settings
• First, put the transmitter into operation and then switch on the receiver installation (see ill. 8, pos. 3) with the function
switch.
Once you turn on the receiver installation, the drive engine is not yet ready for operation. You can first
start the engine when the safety button is pushed while the receiver installation is on (see ill. 8, pos.6).
• Slide the trim slider for the elevator and fin unit (see ill.
2, pos. 1 and 3) into central position and check the
position of the rudder flaps on the tail unit.
• If the elevator unit (1) is angled slightly upwards or
downwards, detach the fork head from the rudder horn
(see ill 5, pos. 5) and adjust the required length of the
link rods by twisting the fork head.
• The link rod of the fin unit (2) has to be adjusted
according to the same scheme like the elevator unit if
required.
Practical flying tips:
You can best see a slant of the rudder flaps (1 and 2) of you look at the model from behind at a distance.
