g) Mounting the propeller
• If you look at the model from the rear, the motor turns
the propeller (1) clockwise.
• Place the propeller on the catch (2) so that it propels
the air backwards in the rotation direction described
above.
• A suitable wrench is enclosed to attach the propeller
nut (3).
h) Checking the engine function
Charge the flight battery before performing an engine test and secure the model against rolling away. Also make sure
that no loose objects like paper or foils can be drawn in by the propeller.
Keep objects and body parts away from the propeller under all circumstances.
In order to perform the engine test, first activate the transmitter and then turn on the receiver unit on the model.
Attention important!
Before you operate the safety switch on the model (see ill. 8, pos. 6), make sure that the slider
for the engine function (see ill. 2, pos. 10) on the bottom right is in the position "engine off". If
this is not the case, the propeller starts immediately when operating the safety switch and may
cause damage.
Once you have checked resp. corrected the position of the slider for the engine function, you can operate the safety
switch on the model.
If you slowly slide the slider upwards to the left, the engine has to start and increase the rotation speed. The maximum
engine speed is achieved when the slider is all the way to the top left.
If the speed control on the transmitter works exactly opposite, you can reverse the function direction of the slider with
the help of the reverse switch for the engine function (see ill. 2, pos. 5).
After completing the test, first turn off the receiver unit and then the transmitter; remove the flight battery from the
model.
