c) Installing the main landing gear
• The main landing gear (1) is slid from below into the
prepared shaft on the bottom of the fuselage (2).
• To do so, press the two wheels slightly together and
slide the wire into the shaft.
• Then you can let the wheels spring back. The landing
gear is then safely suspended in the shaft by the spring
force of the wire.
d) Installing the flight accumulator
• You have to take off the cabin hood (1) to insert the
flight accumulator. To do so, press the latch (2) forward
and lift the hood off forward on the front.
• The hood is maintained in place in the rear by another
latch that snaps in beneath the fuselage wall.
When putting on the hood, you first have to slide in the
catch beneath the side wall of the fuselage before
securing the hood again with the front latch.
• Prior to connecting the accumulator to the model, you
have to check whether the function switch on the model
(3) is in the rear position (OFF).
• Insert the charged flight battery (4) into the battery
compartment and connect it with the plug-type
connection (5) of the flight control.
• Once again, the latches of the flight control plug must
engage in the groove of the accumulator plug the same
way as with connection to the charger.
Our tip:
Generally, it is not required to additionally secure the flight battery in the model, because the battery is
retained by the fuselage parts. If these clamps slacken over the course of time, you can attach the flight
battery with a bit of Velcro tape or rubber rings.
