ASSEMBLY
The supply includes:
B) 1 electropneumatic actuator +
mount
C) 2 hexagonal bolts
Put the valve (A) on a level horizontal
surface.
Ensure that in the disc made of:
- SINT
®
the name WAM
®
on the disk
faces downwards
- CAST IRON the lower flat part of
the disc faces downwards
- STAINLESS STEEL the reference
on the splined shaft faces the right
(Fig. 2).
N.B.: THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE
VALID ONLY DURING ASSEMBLY OF
THE ACTUATOR ON THE VALVE. THE
INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT APPLICA-
BLE ON INSTALLATION OF THE
VALVE.
Remove protection from the disc
shaft.
-Before mounting the actuator, check
to make sure that its piston is com-
pletely retracted, on the rear breech;
this can be done by engaging a
spanner at the flattened end (F) of
the shaft, and rotating clockwise
until it comes to a stop. Mount the
actuator (B), which has been preas-
sembled complete with its acces-
sories, as per the instructions in
the actuator manual, onto the
splined disc shaft keeping it in a
horizontal position with the axis (Y)
pointing to the East. Insert the two
bolts (C) into the holes of the sup-
port flange and screw on firmly.
Carry ou test operation.
If the valve does not completely
close, although the piston is fully re-
tracted, proceed as shown in Fig.3:
1) Disconnect compressed air sup-
ply
2) Loosen the large nut (E) and sock-
et screw (D) at the opposite end of
the actuator
3) Push down the valve disc until it is
fully closed
4) Turn the socket screw (D) clock-
wise until you feel some resistance
and fasten nut (E) in order to block
the socket screw.

Die Klappe (A) auf eine ebene, hori-
zontale Oberfläche legen.
Sicherstellen, daß mit Klappenteller:
- aus SINT
®
der WAM
®
-Schriftzug auf
dem Klappenteller nach unten zeigt
- aus STAHLGUSS der untere abge-
flachte Teil des Tellers nach unten
zeigt
- aus EDELSTAHL das Zeichen auf
der Vielkeilwelle nach rechts zeigt
(siehe Abb. 2).
N.B.: DIESE ANLEITUNG DIENT
NUR FÜR DEN ANBAU DES AN-
TRIEBS AN DIE KLAPPE. FÜR DEN
EINBAU DER KLAPPE IST DIE AN-
LEITUNG NICHT ZU BERÜCKSICH-
TIGEN.
Wellenschutz entfernen.
Bevor man den Drehantrieb montiert,
sicherstellen, dass sein Kolben sich
in der Endlage befindet, auf dem hin-
teren Kugelsegment. Dazu einen
Schlüssel benutzen, den man in das
abgeflachte Ende (F) der Welle steckt,
um ihn dann im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum
Anschlag zu drehen.
Den laut Montageanleitung über die
Drehantriebe komplett mit Zubehör
montierten Pneumatikzylinder (B)
waagrecht so auf die Vielkeilwelle der
Klappe stecken, daß die Antriebsach-
se (Y) nach Osten zeigt,. Die beiden
Schrauben (C) in die Bohrungen des
Verbindungsflansches eindrehen und
festziehen. Funktionstest durchfüh-
ren.
Falls die Klappe mit Zylinder in End-
stellung nicht vollständig schließt, wie
in Abb.3 dargestellt vorgehen, d. h.:
1) Druckluftzufuhr unterbrechen.
2) Befestigungsmutter (E) undZylin-
der-Einstellschraube (D) lockern.
3) Klappenteller nach unten drücken
bis Klappe vollständig geschlossen
ist.
4) Einstellschraube (D) wieder anzie-
hen bis sich leichter Widerstand
einstellt. Anschließend Einstell-
schraube mittels Befestigungsmut-
ter (E) blockieren.

La fourniture comprend:
B) 1 vérin + support
C) 2 vis à tête hexagonale
Disposer la vanne (A) sur une surfa-
ce plane horizontale. Vérifier qu'avec
un disque:
- en SINT
®
l'inscription WAM
®
impri-
mée sur le disque est tournée vers
le bas;
- en FONTE la partie inférieure plate
du disque est tournée vers le bas;
- en INOX le repère sur l'arbre est
tourné vers la droite (Cf. fig.2).
N.B.: CES INSTRUCTIONS VALENT
SEULEMENT EN PHASE D'ASSEM-
BLAGE DE L'ACTIONNEUR SUR LA
VANNE; ELLES NE CONCERNENT
PAS L'INSTALLATION DE LA VANNE
Enlever la protection de l'arbre.
Avant de monter l'actionneur, véri-
fier que son piston est en fin de cour-
se, sur la culasse arrière ; pour faire
cela, utiliser une clé en l'engageant
dans l'extrémité aplanie (F) de l'ar-
bre, et en la tournant dans le sens
des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à l'ar-
rêt. Insérer l'actionneur pneumatique
(vérin) (B) dans l'arbre cannelé du
corps de la vanne en pointant l'axe
(Y) du vérin vers l'est , tout en main-
tenant le vérin à l'horizontale. Insérer
les deux boulons (C) dans les trous
du raccord et les serrer fortement.
Effectuer test de fonctionnement.
Au cas où, avec le vérin en position
de fin de course, le disque ne ferme-
rait pas complètement (fig.3), procé-
der comme suit:
1) Arrêter l'air du circuit.
2) Dévisser la cale (E) et la vis régu-
lation de la course (D) du vérin.
3) Pousser manuellement le disque
en bas jusqu'à la fermeture com-
plète de la vanne.
4) Revisser la vis régulation (D) jus-
qu'à ce quelle touche le vérin et
la bloquer avec la cale (E).

Sistemare la valvola (A) su un piano
orizzontale. Accertarsi che con disco:

- in SINT
la scritta WAM
riportata
sul disco sia rivolta verso il basso;
- in GHISA la parte inferiore piana del
disco sia rivolta verso il basso;
- in INOX che il riferimento sull'albero
calettato sia rivolto verso destra
vedi (fig.2).
N.B.: QUESTE ISTRUZIONI VALGO-
NO SOLO IN FASE DI ASSEMBLAG-
GIO DELL'ATTUATORE; NON RI-
GUARDANO L'INSTALLAZIONE
DELLA VALVOLA
Togliere la protezione dall'albero.
Prima di montare l'attuatore, verifi-
care che lo stesso abbia il pistone a
fine corsa, sulla culatta posteriore;
per fare questo, utilizzare una chiave
impegnandola nell'estremità spianata
(F) dell' albero, e ruotandola in senso
orario fino all'arresto. L'inserimento
dell'attuatore pneumatico (B) nell'al-
bero scanalato dei corpo valvola, va
fatto puntando l'asse (Y) del cilindro
verso est, tenendo l'attuatore in oriz-
zontale. Inserire le due viti (C) negli
appositi fori e serrare forte con chia-
ve. Effettuare test funzionale.
Nel caso che, con il cilindro pneumatico
a fine corsa, il disco valvola non chiuda
perfettamente (fig.3):
1) Staccare l'aria compressa del cir-
cuito.
2) Svitare il fermo (E) e la vite regola-
zione (D).
3) Premere manualmente il disco val-
vola in basso fino a chiusura com-
pleta.
4) Riavvitare la vite regolazione (D) fino
a che non tocca lo stelo del cilindro e
bloccarla con il fermo (E).
