Delicate items of clothing should be ironed inside out to preserve the material.
•
Although the device can also be used on delicate fabrics such as silk or wool, you should
read the care instructions for the textile to be ironed before you use the device. Some
fabrics such as leather, suede and velvet must not be ironed!
•
We recommend that you sort the garments on the basis of the temperature they need
to be ironed at and that you start with the items which require the lowest temperature.
Otherwise, wait a few minutes when you adjust the device from a high temperature to a
lower level before you continue ironing.
•
For the best results, we recommend that you iron with the lower steam setting (20 g/min)
on temperature levels (•) and (••) and with the high steam setting (40 g/min) on tempera-
ture levels (•••) and (max).
•
For an optimum ironing result, we recommend that you dry-iron the item of clothing after
steam-ironing it in order to remove the moisture from the clothing.
