❐ Only iron on a stable, fl at, heat-resistant and moisture-resistant surface. We recommend
that you use a standard ironing board.
❐ Do not iron on surfaces made from glass or plastic.
❐ Always work with suffi cient lighting.
❐ Never exceed the maximum fi ll level (note MAX marking on the measuring cup that is also
supplied!). If possible, only fi ll the device with distilled water.
❐ Never pour any cleaning agent or other chemical additives into the device. This could
destroy the device and safe working is no longer guaranteed.
❐ Do not pour any descaling agents into the water reservoir.
❐ Open the water reservoir cover only to fi ll the water reservoir. Otherwise keep the cover
closed while operating the iron.
❐ Never cover up the steam nozzles and do not stick any objects into them.
❐ Operate the steam switches only when the water reservoir is fi lled with water as oth-
erwise the water pump may be damaged and the useful service life of the device may be
shortened.
❐ Maintain a suffi cient distance from heat sources such as hobs or ovens in order not to
damage the device.
❐ Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
❐ Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature variations, mois-
ture, wet conditions or direct sunlight.
❐ Always test the device fi rst on a small, inconspicuous spot on the clothing.
❐ Never iron for too long on one spot to prevent damage to the clothing.
❐ Place the device on an even, stable surface during and shortly after use. Always place the
device upright on its base to prevent damage to the surface which could be caused by the
hot bottom section of the iron.
❐ Put the device back into its storage position only once it has completely cooled and there
is no more water in the water reservoir.
❐ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents (e. g. vinegar) or cleaning pads to
clean the device.
❐ Store the device in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to children. When you do this,
place the device upright on its base on a fl at, stable surface.

Warranty Terms

The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage, calcifi cation or
repair attempts. The same applies for normal wear.
