Ironing Recommendations

The temperature levels are continously adjustable beween the positions Min and Max
wiht the help of the temperature control. We recommend the following adjustments for
synthetic fi bres, silk, wool, cotton and linen:
Level Min to •
Level • to ••
Level •• to ••• Max
Delicate items of clothing should be ironed inside out to preserve the material.
Although the device can also be used on delicate fabrics such as silk or wool, you should
read the care instructions for the textile to be ironed before you use the device. Some
fabrics such as leather, suede and velvet must not be ironed!
We recommend that you sort the garments on the basis of the temperature they need
to be ironed at and that you start with the items which require the lowest temperature.
Otherwise, wait a few minutes when you adjust the device from a high temperature to a
lower level before you continue ironing.
For best results, we recommend setting the temperature control on the temperature lev-
els •• and higher, when using the steam irong function. Thus, the the steam is additionally
heated via the hot ironing plate.
