Moving The Equipment
1
Lifting Forks
Use lifting forks to move unit.
Extend forks beyond opposite side of small
containers and beyond midpoint of larger/
longer containers.
NOTICE − To avoid damaging filter cabinet
during installation, use the attached ship-
ping pallet to lift unit. Remove pallet after
completing installation.
Compressed Air And Power Supplies
2
Compressed Air Supply
(80−100 psi/552 − 689 kPa)
(3/8 in. NPT Connection)
.
Clean, dry compressed is needed for
the cleaning function on SXW-S
self-cleaning models to operate proper-
ly. Each cleaning cycle requires 4.1
SCFM (116 LPM).
3
AC Power Supply
.
A dedicated 115 volt AC, 15 amp indi-
vidual branch circuit protected by time
delay (type D) fuses or circuit breaker is
required for each unit. See Section
5-13.
Position unit near the welding operation and
close to compressed air supply and 115 volt
AC power supply. Keep unit way from ob-
structions that may restrict movement of the
fume collector or extraction arm. Be sure
equipment is accessible for maintenance.
4
Minimum Wall Height
The
minimum
wall-mounted fume extraction system is
based on the length of the extraction arm.
See Section 4-3D for ceiling height re-
quirements.
