Starting up the spray gun
The device contains a small quantity of test material in
as-delivered condition. It is important to rinse this mate-
rial out of the spray gun before using it for the first time:
1. Fill the material contained with water or compatible
solvent; screw the cup onto the spray gun and hand
tighten.
2. Move the ventilation/pressure relief valve to the up
position and press the trigger for approximately 10
seconds.
3. Move the ventilation/pressure relief valve down to
the spraying position.
4. Turn the nozzle to cleaning position and actuate the
spray gun for approximately 10 seconds into a catch-
ment container.

5. Lock the trigger lock and move the ventilation/pres-
sure relief valve to the up position to relieve the pres-
sure.
6. Unscrew and remove the material container.
7. Release the trigger lock; movie ventilation/pressure
relief valve to the downward position; hold the spray
gun just above the material container and press the
trigger to drain the material out of the pump.
8. Move the ventilation/pressure relief valve up and
press the trigger to complete flushing the material.
9. Dispose of the material in the container.
