Makes approx. 375 ml
Ingredients
220 g (1 cup) white sugar
250 ml (1 cup) water
Method
1. Place sugar and water in a heavy based saucepan and cook, stirring at very low
heat, until sugar has dissolved.
2. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Transfer to an airtight contai-
ner and store in the fridge until ready to use.
