3. The place of storage must be dry
and frost­proof. The ideal ambi­
ent temperature must not exceed
40 °C.
CAUTION! The storage of dis­
charged batteries may lead to
a so­called deep discharge. This
destroys the battery cells and ren­
ders the rechargeable battery
useless.
Transport
If possible, use the original packag­
ing when dispatching.
1. Switch the device off and remove
the battery pack.
2. Use the transport protection if
possible.
3. Only carry the device by the han­
dle.
4. Protect the device from the heavy
impacts and vibrations that may
occur when transporting by car.
5. Protect the device to prevent it
from sliding or falling over.

CAUTION! Electrical and bat­
tery operated units that no
longer work should not be disposed
of in the house hold waste! They are
to be collected separately, in
accordance with the 2012/19/EU
directive for the disposal of electri­
cal and electron­
ic waste, and
sent for proper
and environ­

recycling.

point. Collection and disposal of
packaging materials separately
by types complying with local
rules and regulations. For details,
please contact your municipal

battery­powered or recharge­
able electronic devices, the bat­
tery/ rechargeable battery must
be removed and disposed off sep­
arately in accordance with the rel­
evant regulations. Batteries and
rechargeable batteries should not
be disposed off in the household
waster.

that can no longer be used should
be disposed of in the
containers made avail­
able for that purpose at
regional collection points
or at the battery retailer.

As the consumer, you are legally
obliged to return all batteries and
rechargeable batteries whether
they contain hazardous materi­
als* or not, to a collection point
in your community/town/ store so
that they can be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly way.
