The sw itch should be in STOP position w hen putting the unit off. .
•
When mow ing mind the specific regulations in effect in the given country and communal regulations. .
•
Do not mow at time generally recognised as quiet tomes.
•
Solid obstacles – stones, metal objects etc. – must be removed. They could be throw n off and cause personal or material damage.
•
Working height should be 15 cm at least w hen mow ing in high-grow n shrubs or undergrow th not to put animals (hedgehog e.g.) at
threat.
Mow ing
-
On small grass area, hold the scythe at an angle of ca 30° and turn left and right w ithin a semicircle
-
Best results are achieved on grass 15 long as a maximum. If the grass is higher, repeated mow ing is recommended.
CAUTION! Never put the m ow ing head on the ground w hile the m achine is running!
If the m ow ing power drops:
1.)
Hold the running machines above the grass and hit the mow ing head against the ground gently several times. The string w ill
extend in this w ay. .
2.)
The protection screen integrated knife w ill cut the string at a required length.
CAUTION! Rem nants of the string m ay be thrown aw ay and cause injuries
If the m achine is vibrating,
Clean it and remove the remaining grass from the mow ing head and protection screen.
1.
Hold the scythe safely and firmly w ith both your hands!
2.
Mow the grass and w eeds only. Low shrubs may be cut w ith a thick knife.
3.
Work considerately and do not threaten anybody w hile w orking. Work calmly and thoughtfully
4.
Work at sufficient visibility and light!
5.
Watch the mow ing head!
