Fuel Data
Refuelling:
Mix lead-free petrol w ith air-cooled 2-stroke engine oil at ratio 1:40. Meaning the e.g. 0.125 litre oil
should be added in 5 litres of petrol.
Tip: Alw ays prepare only 1 litre of the mix as this mix is no good for use after a time of storage.
Use the mixing tank for the preparation included in the delivery or have the mix prepared at a filling
station.
Initial Use Safety Instructions
Warning! Before putting the scythe in operation, check it for reliable w orking condition. Do not sw itch the machine on w hen in any doubts!
Prim arily, pay attention to follow ing points
•
Cutting head correct mount
•
Sw itches easy run
•
The ignition plug safely mounted. If the plug is loose, sparkle and subsequent ignition of fuel-air mixture may occur.
•
Make sure that handgrips are clean so that scythe may be led safely.
Before starting the machine, all the safety and protection devices have to be in place and properly mounted.
The cutting head m ust m ove freely.
Before putting the scythe on, make sure that the mow ing head is fitted properly and moving parts are not blocked.
Warning! If in doubt w hen putting the scythe saw in operation, take advice from a professional of an authorised servicing centre. Warning!
Non-professional advice may be dangerous to life!
1.
CAUTION! Alw ays hold the hand and the legs out of the scythe reach, particularly at starting up the machine. Have hands
freely on the additional handle.
Alw ays use the m achine with supplied shoulder strap. One hand on the engine handle, the other one on the spindle
handle.
2.
Alw ays hold the machine at an adequate safe distance from your body and take a stable position.
3.
Alw ays use a protection shield.
4.
Use the machine at daylight only.
5.
Do not use the machine in rain or on the w et grass.
6.
Check the machine for damages before use or after a hit and repair it if necessary.
7.
Do not use the machine if the protection devices are damaged or fitted improperly.
8.
Make sure that ventilations slots are free of any dirt and remnants.
9.
When advancing w ith the w ork, alw ays m ake sure that no persons and anim als are staying w ithin 10 as a m inim um.
Sw itch the m achine off im m ediately if som ebody, children in particular. Gets w ithin the reach of the m achine.
