Carrying out oblique cuts

• Fasten the workpiece with the workpiece clamp as
shown in the illustration.
• Release the locking lever and set the desired angle.
• Make sure that the splitter is always in alignment
with the saw blade.
• Secure the locking screw again. Switch on the
machine and gently press the saw unit downwards
to make the cut.
Carrying out cross cuts
• Slide the cross cut fence into one of the two grooves
of the saw table and set to the desired angle.
• Switch on the machine and carefully push the
workpiece into the running saw blade using the
cross cut fence.
CAUTION!
Always firmly hold the guided workpiece, never
the free workpiece that is to be cut off.
Maximum cuts
The distance between the saw table and the upper
edge of the splitter should be approx. 10 cm.
If the machine is used in enclosed rooms, it must
be connected to a suitable vacuum cleaner or the
supplied dust bag must be connected to the chip
outlet (item 15).
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
OPERATOR
The operator must have carefully read and under-
stood the operating instructions before using the
machine.
Qualification: Apart from a detailed instruction by a
competent person, no special qualification for using
the machine is required.
Minimum age: The machine may only be operated
by persons who are 16 years of age or older. An
exception is made for use by a minor if it is used in the
course of vocational training to acquire the skill under
the supervision of a trainer.
Training: The only requirement for using the machi-
ne is appropriate instruction by a qualified person
or the operating instructions. Special training is not
necessary.
MAINTENANCE
Always remove the plug from the socket
before carrying out any maintenance work on
the machine!
• Always perform a visual inspection before use to
determine whether the machine, in particular, the
power cable and plug, are damaged.
• The machine must not be used if it is damaged or if
the safety devices are defective.
• If the machine is defective, the repair must be car-
ried out by the customer service team only.
• Only use original accessories and original spare
parts.
• Only a regularly serviced and well-maintained
machine can be a useful tool.
• Lack of maintenance and care can lead to unfore-
seeable accidents and injuries.
• Use a damp cloth to clean the plastic parts. Do not
use cleaning agents, solvents or sharp objects.
• Remove dirt from the surface of the saw table with a
suitable care and maintenance spray.
• If the braking time of the motor is not within 10
seconds, the wearing parts of the motor brake must
be replaced and by the manufacturer or a suitable
workshop only.
• Use a soft brush or scrub to remove trapped dust
from the ventilation opening and moving parts
after each use.
• Oil all moving metal parts on a regular basis.
• If required, you can find the spare parts list online at
www.guede.com.
After each use:
• Remove dust from ventilation openings and moving
parts.
• Remove dust from the entire saw.
Regularly:
• Oil movable metal parts. (multi-purpose oil)
• Check screws for tight fit.
