Før plasmaskæreren tages i brug, er det
vigtigt at læse og forstå dette afsnit. Læs
også advarselsskiltet på maskinens låg.
Elektrisk sikkerhed
En plasmaskæremaskine har en høj tom-
gangsspænding på 200-300 Volt DC. Skal
der foretages indgreb i maskinen, er det
vigtig at afbryde netspændingen til ma-
skinen.
Før pistolen adskilles, skal maskinen
afbrydes (omskifteren skal stilles i pos.
OFF).
Foretages der alligevel indgreb i skærepi-
stolen, mens maskinen er tændt, tager man
en personlig risiko, og der er ligeledes en
risiko for at ødelægge skærepistolen.
Plasmalysbuen
Plasmalysbuen er en ualmindelig kraftig
varmekilde - det gælder både pilotlysbuen
og skærelysbuen. Tænd derfor aldrig
pilotlysbuen, når pistolen er rettet mod
personer i nærheden. Hvis maskinen efter-
lades, skal den slukkes, så ukyndige per-
soner ikke kan komme til skade.
Personlige værnemidler
Alle,
der
beskæftiger
maskæring, skal bære heldækkende ar-
bejdstøj. Der skal bruges beskyttelses-
briller, der opfylder følgende betingelser:
- Filtrering af ultraviolet stråling:
Al ultraviolet stråling i bølgelængdeinter-
vallet 200-400 nm skal filtreres.
- Der skal anvendes briller, der svarer til
en tæthedsgrad 7-9. Operatøren bør
vælge den tæthedsgrad, der giver kom-
fortable synsbetingelser.
Medhjælperen, som ikke udsættes for
direkte stråling, skal anvende beskyttel-
sesbriller med sidebeskyttelse af godkendt
type og med tæthedsgrad 3 eller 4.

Before starting up the plasma cutter it is im-
portant to read and understand this section.
It is also recommended to read the warning
sign on the cover of the machine.
Electrical precautions
A plasma cutter has a relatively high open
circuit voltage of 200-300 V DC. If repairs
have to be made it is important to switch off
the mains voltage supply.
Before dismantling the torch the mach-
ine must be switched off (place the
switch in position OFF).
If the torch is repaired with the machine
switched on there is a great personal dan-
ger, and there is also a risk of damaging the
torch.
The plasma cutting arc
The plasma cutting arc is an extremely
intense heat source - this goes for the pilot
arc as well as the cutting arc. Therefore, do
not ignite the pilot arc with the torch pointed
towards individuals in close vicinity. When
leaving the machine it must be switched off,
in order that unauthorized personnel are not
injured or endangered.
Personal protection
Everyone using the plasma cutting process
must wear protective clothing which com-
pletely covers them. In particular, eye
protection
meeting
quirements must be worn:
- Filtering of ultra-violet radiation:
- All ultra-violet radiation within the wave-
length 200-400 nm must be filtered out.
Eye protection with a welding glass
standard density of 7-9 must be worn.
The operator should choose a degree of
density which provides a comfortable
and adequate view of the cutting area.
