5. Electrical connection
The electrical connection must be provided
by a technician in coordination
with the local utility company.
Mind the NIN (CENELEC) regulations.
At greater water temperatures (above 80 °C), use appropriate
heatproof connecting lines.
The connecting line must not touch the tubing, the pump housing,
or the motor housing.
Mind the protection from dripping water and strain relief
when laying cables in the junction box (gland seal).
An all-pole separator with a minimum of 3 mm contact opening
is to be connected upstream.
Electrical connection must be carried out in accordance
with the data label.
The electrical connection should be looped to simplify subsequent
replacement.
The pump does not require any external motor protection.
(The motor is monitored by the electronics.)
For insulation resistance test, see point 6.4.
Note: Pay special attention to the protective conductor.
The protective conductor must be longer than the pole conductor
(danger of tearing).
