Temperature display
The temperature display shows the heating progress.
The yellow thermometer at the bottom right of the dis-
play indicates that the appliance is heating up. If a type
of heating is set, the bars turn yellow from bottom to

top as the cooking compartment heats up. If you are
using the grill or steam mode, all the bars light up im-
mediately. The bars do not light up when the mi-
crowave function is in use. When you are preheating
the appliance, the optimal time to place your food in
the cooking compartment is as soon as all four lines
have turned yellow.
Due to thermal inertia, the temperature that is displayed
may differ slightly from the actual temperature inside
the cooking compartment.
Night mode
To save energy, the control panel brightness is auto-
matically reduced to a lower level between 10 p.m. and
5.59 a.m.
Rotary selector
You can use the rotary selector to change the adjust-
ment values shown on the display.
Meaning
If the symbol lights up, the childproof
lock is activated.
The symbol indicates the status of
the drip tray.
The symbol lights up and the arrow
flashes:
¡ The drip tray is in the tank recess.
¡ The drip tray is full.
¡ Empty the drip tray.
The symbol flashes and the arrow
does not flash:
¡ The drip tray is not in the tank re-
cess.
¡ Insert the drip tray into the tank re-
cess.
The symbol lights up and the arrow
does not light up:
¡ The drip tray is in the tank recess.
¡ No further action necessary.
The symbol indicates the status of
the water tank.
The symbol lights up and the arrow
flashes:
¡ The water tank is in the tank re-
cess.
¡ The water tank is empty.
¡ Fill the water tank.
The symbol flashes and the arrow
does not flash:
¡ The water tank is not in the tank
recess.
¡ Insert the water tank into the tank
recess.
The symbol lights up and the arrow
does not light up:
¡ The water tank is in the tank re-
cess.
¡ No further action necessary.
If this symbol lights up, rapid heat-up
is activated.
If this symbol lights up, the appliance
must be descaled.
