3. Setting the correct radio channel
A special digital transmission process
ensures that the radio signals are
picked up without errors. This pro-
cess also makes it possible to set 10
different radio channels.
When supplied from the factory, all
Infrared motion transmitters are set to
channel 0. It is only necessary to set
units to other channels if you have
several different users operating units
in the same building.
Set the channel you want by adjusting
the channel selector switch on the
left-hand side of the unit to the requi-
red channel number. Use a small scr-
ewdriver to adjust this switch.
All transmitters and receivers must be
set to the same channel.

on transmitter
max. 6 m
10 English
The Infrared motion transmitter can
detect movement at a maximum
distance of up to 6 meters away.
The opening angle measures approx.
35° to 40°.
Please note the following when set-
ting up the infrared motion transmit-
ter:
1. The infrared reception sensor must
be free and clear.
2. The maximum infrared recognition
range must be observed.
Switching on the Infrared motion
transmitter
Use the slider switch on the right-
hand side of the device to switch the
transmitter on.
There are two ways to activate the
infrared reception sensor:
1. Switch on the Alarm ON/OFF switch
on the bottom of the transmitter
(switch pressed in = IR motion
transmitter is activated).
2. Use an external ON/OFF switch.
Once the transmitter has been activa-
ted, the infrared reception sensor
takes about 30 seconds to switch on
to give you time to leave the alarm
area. If a person or animal comes wit-
hin the recognition range of the Infra-
red motion sensor, an alarm signal
will sound.
