Preparation for mounting

Caution!
Unsuitable doors reduce personal safety and intrusion protection: Only approved and technically cor-
rect doors are suitable for installation of the multi-point lock 319. Prior to the installation of the multi-point
lock 319, the door must be checked to ensure that it is attached properly and is not warped. The door
must be approved for use of the multi-point lock 319.
1 Create the lock pocket at a suitable mounting position in the door leaf.
2 Finish the holes for the fixing screws (Pic. 17).
3 Finish the holes for the lock fittings.
4 Clean the lock pocket and all holes by blowing them out or vacuuming.

Install the multi-point lock 319

1 Fasten the multi-point lock 319 in the lock pocket.
2 Fasten the lock fittings.
3 Check the multi-point lock 319 for ease of movement.
 Once the striking plate is mounted, the multi-point lock 319 is ready for use.

Mounting the striking plate

1 Finish the striking plate pocket and all holes or finish a customer-provided striking plate ("Production
of customer-provided striking plates", page 48).
2 Clean the striking plate pocket and all holes by blowing them out or vacuuming.
3 Screw in the appropriate locking plate for the multi-point lock 319 to be screwed in.
4 Check the multi-point lock 319 for ease of movement.
 The multi-point lock 319 is ready for operation.
Installation
