Multi-point lock 319
General
The multi-point lock 319 (Pic. 1) is a mechanically operating mortise lock for use in single-leaf fire doors
which open outwards only or inwards only.
Functions
The locked door is always locked automatically (automatic locking).
Some product variants are suitable for emergency exits in accordance with DIN EN 179 and can be opened
from inside with the door handle at all times.
The multi-point lock 319 offers
· Mechanical automatic locking,
· Mechanical automatic locking process control
between latch and control latch,
· Intrusion resistance with a solid, hardened
deadbolt,
· 20 mm bolt throw,
· Intrusion resistance up to Resistance Class 4
achievable in suitable door systems,
· Escape door function in accordance with DIN EN
179 possible,
· Panic door function in accordance with DIN EN
1125 possible,
· Suitable for fire doors (evidence of conformity in
form of general appraisal certificate),
· B-function or alternatively, E-function:
· B-function: mechanically via cylinder actuation
of controllable outer door handle (use fitting
with split follower and outer door handle),
· E-function: the locking cylinder is used for
manual unlocking from outside,
· deadbolt counterforce of 6,000 N,
· lateral deadbolt resistance of 20,000 N.
