The practical contact grill can be fully opened and folded out to provide you with

of grilling area. The ribbed hot plate is suited perfectly to grilling meat, the
even hot plate is ideal for preparing fried eggs, pancakes, vegetables, hash browns
or other potato dishes.
1. Check if the grease drip tray is fully inserted into the appliance base.
2. Check if both hot plates are properly locked into place.
Note: Should the plates be improperly mounted, „INSERT PLATE" will be stated
on the LCD screen. In this case, unfasten both plates with the corresponding plate
release buttons and reinstall them so that they audibly lock into place.

3. Place the grill on an even, dry and heat resistant
worktop. Ensure that to the left and right of the
appliance, at least 10 cm of space are kept to
other items.
4. Completely unwind the power cord and plug
the power plug into a suitable wall outlet.
5. A signal will sound and the LCD screen will
state „OFF" and „0" for the time setting.
6 . Setting the temperature to heat the grill:
a) Ensure that the grill is closed with the top hot plate lying on the bottom hot
plate. The slider for closing and opening the grill (L) should be set to „OPEN".
In this position, the appliance can quickly and efficiently heat up.
b) Turn the temperature regulator (H), to set the
desired grilling temperature. Turn the regulator
to SEAR (210°C – 230°C) to heat up quickly,
PANINI (180°C – 205°C) to make sandwiches or
LOW (160°C – 175°C) resp. to another tem-
perature in between. You can choose temper-
atures in steps of 5°C (or 10°F). Once the tem-
perature is set, the grill will heat up, the LCD
screen will light up orange and display the cho-
sen temperature and „0" for the time setting.
The control notice HEATING will flash regularly.
c) Let the grill heat up until HEATING is not longer displayed.
