GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
Foreword
The user's manual was created for the "Generic" operator (Operator with limited skills and du-
ties). Person authorised and charged with operating the appliance with the protections active
and who is capable of performing routine maintenance (Cleaning the appliance).
Operators who use the device must be trained in all aspects of its operation and safety. There-
fore, they must interact using appropriate methods and tools according to the required safety
standards.
The information in this document do not take into account transport, installation and extraordi-
nary maintenance, which must be performed by technicians qualified in the type of operation
to be performed.
The "Generic" operator who is the recipient of this documentation must operate on the applian-
ce after the assigned technician has finished installation (transport, mounting and electrical,
water, gas and drainage connections).
This document does not include the information on all changes or variations for this appliance.
The manufacturer reserves the right to modify it, without being obliged to communicate his
acts.
Obligations - Prohibitions - Advice - Recommendations
Upon receipt, open the machine packaging and make suer the machine and accessories were
not damaged during transport. If there is any damage, inform the transporter immediately of
what was detected and do not install the appliance. Refer to qualified and authorised person-
nel to report the problem detected. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused
during transport.
Unauthorised persons (including children, disabled individuals and people with limited physi-
cal, sensory and mental abilities) are prohibited from performing any procedures.
It is prohibited to perform any operation without having read the documentation in its entirety.
Read the instructions before acting.
Disconnect all supplies (electrical - gas - water) upstream the appliance whenever you need
to work in safe conditions.
Wear protective equipment suitable for the operations to be performed. As far as personal
protective equipment is concerned, the European Community has issued Directives which the
operators must comply with. Noise ≤ 70 dB
It is forbidden to obstruct the air vents on the appliance with grills, trays or other accessories
that impede free air circulation.
Do not leave flammable objects or material near the appliance.
Use the current norms for disposal of special waste.
When loading and unloading from the appliance there is a residual burn risk. This risk could oc-
cur when coming in accidental contact with surfaces, trays or treated material.
Use the containers for cooking so that while the product is processing they can stay in sight
of the operator. Containers with liquid inside of them can overflow during cooking, creating a
hazardous situation.
Lack of cleanliness of the appliance leads to its premature deterioration. This affects its opera-
tion and could create a hazardous situation.
It is strictly forbidden to tamper with or remove the plates and pictograms applied to the
equipment.
Keep this document in a safe place that is always available for consultation to all users of the
appliance.
The appliance can only be operated using the hands. Damage caused by using pointed, sharp
or similar objects will void the warranty.
To minimise danger of shocks and fire, do not plug or unplug the unit with wet hands.
Whenever you must access the cooking area, remember that there is a danger of burns. The-
refore, suitable personal protection measures.
