OPERATION & SERVICE MANUAL FOR MOWER DECK
7-1. Before operation
- Become familiar with how to operate the lawn
mower and understand safety instructions by
reading this manual and the tractor's manual
carefully.
- The machine is equipped with various safety
systems. All safety shields, guards, and covers
should always be in position and functioning
properly. Lost or damaged ones should be
replaced with new ISEKI's genuine parts.
- Especially before starting the mower, be sure to
inspect visually to see that the blade and blade
tightening bolts are not worn, damaged or loose.
Replace worn or damaged blade and bolts as an
assembly to preserve blade balance.
-Make sure that the V-belt is tensioned evenly as
specified.
- Check the whole area and get rid of all obstacles
such as stones, wood, empty, tins, bottles, wires,
etc to assure safe operation before moving the
tractor into the working site.
-Make sure that the mower operation will not
cause any injury to children, animals, bystanders,
or damage to trees, buildings, etc.
7-2. Cutting height adjustment
a. Raise the mower with the lift.
b. Remove the clip of the gauge wheel setting pin.
Remove the pin while holding the gauge wheel
with the other hand.
c. Select one of the setting holes to get the required
cutting height, insert the pin, and retain it with
the pin clip.
d. All gauge wheels or rollers should be set to the
same height.
e. The relationship between the setting holes and

cutting heights is shown on the label attached on
the mower deck. Select the most suitable setting
holes.
f.
Adjust the cutting height with the gauge wheels
in accordance with the condition of the ground
surface at the working site.
