7. ADVANCED PARAMETER SETTING

7.1. Using the programming interface - Fig. 30

1) Press the "SET" button for 0.5 s to enter parameter setting mode.
The integrated lighting comes on and the P0 indicator light flashes
once.
2) Press the "+" or "-" button to change the value of the parameter.
The indicator light flashes x times to indicate the value selected.
3) Press the "SET" button for 0.5 s to confirm this value and move on to
the next parameter.
If parameter Px is selected, pressing the "SET" button for 0.5 s will exit
parameter setting mode.
4) Press the "SET" button for 2 s to confirm a value and exit parameter
setting mode.
The integrated lighting and parameter setting indicator lights go out.

7.2. Meaning of the various parameters

(Text in bold = default values)
P0
Operating mode
Values
1: sequential
2: sequential + short closure time-delay (60 s)
3: sequential + long closure time-delay (120 s) + block-
age of cells (2 s)
Comments
P0 = 1: Each press on the remote control button causes
the motor to move (initial position: door closed) as per
the following cycle: open, stop, close, stop, open, etc.
P0 = 2: This operating mode is only authorised if the
photoelectric cells are installed and P4 = 3.
In sequential mode with short closure time-delay:
• the door will close automatically a er a time-delay
of 60 s,
• pressing a button on the remote control interrupts the
movement taking place and the closure time delay
(the door remains open).
P0 = 3: This operating mode is only authorised if the
photoelectric cells are installed and P4 = 3.
In sequential mode with long closure time-delay +
blockage of the cells:
• the door will close automatically a er a time-delay
of 120 s.
• pressing a button on the remote control interrupts the
movement taking place and the closure time delay
(the door remains open).
• a er the door is opened, movement in front of the
cells (safe closure) will close the door a er a short
timed delay (fixed at 2 s).
If no movement occurs in front of the cells, the door
will close automatically a er a time-delay of 120 s.
If there is an obstacle in the cells' detection zone, the
door will not close. It will close once the obstacle is
removed.
P1
Door closing speed
Values
1: Slow
2: Standard
3: High speed
Comments
If the parameter has been modified, you are advised to
perform auto-programming again.
Warning
If the setting is changed, the installer must check
that the obstacle detection system complies with
Annex A of standard EN 12 453.
Failure to follow this instruction may result in
serious injury, e.g. due to crushing by the door.

P2
Closing slowdown zone
Values
1: None
2: Short (approx. 20 cm)
3: Long
Comments
If the parameter has been modified, you are advised to
perform auto-programming again.
Warning
If the setting is changed, the installer must
check that the obstacle detection system com-
plies with Annex A of standard EN 12 453.
Failure to follow this instruction may result in
serious injury, e.g. due to crushing by the door.
P3
Obstacle detection sensitivity
Values
1: Very low
2: Low
3: Standard
4: Maximum
Comments
If the parameter has been modified, you are advised to
perform auto-programming again.
Warning
If the setting is changed, the installer must
check that the obstacle detection system com-
plies with Annex A of standard EN 12 453.
Failure to follow this instruction may result in
serious injury, e.g. due to crushing by the door.
P4
Photoelectric cells
Values
1: Active
2: BUS
3: Active with auto-test via power supply switching
4: Inactive
NB
Comments
It is essential to remove the bridge between ter-
minals 17 and 18, and connect the cells before
modifying parameter P4.
1: safety device without auto-test; it is essential to check
that it is operating correctly every 6 months.
2: bus cells application.
NB
If when confirming P4=2, the P4 and photoelec-
tric cells indicator lights are flashing, there is a
short-circuit on the cells safety input, and the
parameter modification is disregarded. Remove
the bridge between terminals 17 and 18, and
check the cells connection (see 6.2.1 Photoelec-
tric cells - Fig. 22), set up P4 again and then
perform auto-programming again.
3: the auto-test is run on the device for each operating
cycle via power supply switching.
Warning
It is compulsory to install photoelectric cells
WITH AUTO-TEST P4 = 3 if:
• remote control of the mechanism is used
when the door is not visible,
• automatic closing is activated ("P0" = 2 or 3).
4: the safety input is disregarded.
Warning
If P4 = 4, the drive cannot be operated in auto-
matic mode and in-view control of the drive is
mandatory.
