• The IR light is invisible to the human eye. It is therefore not possible to tell whether an IR LED is on or
not. Due to the intensity of the in-built IR LEDs, there is a risk of damage to the eye if you look at them
from a short distance (<2 m).
Attention: IR LED light! Do not look directly into the IR LED light! Do not look into the beam directly or
with optical instruments!
e) IR remote control
• The IR remote control must not get damp or wet. The membrane keypad is very sensitive, so do not
press the buttons with pointed or sharp objects, as this will damage them.
• The IR remote control must be powered by a CR2025 battery.

7. Battery safety information

• Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as they constitute a chok-
ing hazard for children and pets. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is swallowed.
• When handling leaking or damaged batteries, always use suitable protective gloves to avoid burning
your skin.
• Liquids leaking from batteries are very chemically aggressive. Objects or surfaces coming into contact
with these liquids could be severely damaged. Therefore, store batteries in a suitable location.
• Batteries must never be short-circuited, disassembled or thrown into fire. This may cause an explosion!
• Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries, as this may cause an explosion.
• Always ensure that the battery in the IR remote control is inserted with the correct polarity (observe the
plus/+ and minus/- symbols).
