Recordings can't be saved
• Is the data carrier full? Insert a new, empty SD memory card.
• If necessary, enable automatic overwrite of the memory card, as described in section 11. f). The oldest recordings
are overwritten with the current recordings and are lost.
When the overwrite feature is disabled, recordings will not be saved if the data carrier is full.
• Switch off SD memory card write protection (you will find a small slide switch on the edge of the SD memory card).
• If the write protection slide switch on the SD memory card is very easy to move, write protection may be accidentally
enabled when you insert the SD memory card into the monitor/DVR.
• Use the corresponding function of the monitor/DVR to format the SD memory card, as described in section 11. g).
All data on the SD memory card will be lost. The formatting process may take some time depending on the data
carrier size.
• The monitor/DVR only supports FAT and FAT32 file formats (NTFS is not supported).
• If problems occur when saving information on the SD memory card, make sure that it complies with at least
"Class 4" or higher. This ensures that the SD memory card's write speed is sufficient to ensure continuous video
data recording.
There is no sound when playing video records
• The cameras have no microphone; audio recording is not possible.
Video quality is too bad
• Select the higher quality level in the menu (see section 11. f)).
Recordings cannot be played back
• Simultaneous playback is not possible while the monitor/DVR is recording camera video signals. First stop
recording.
• You are using a different software when playing on a computer.
The IR remote control does not work
• Replace the battery in the IR remote control. When inserting the battery, observe the correct polarity.
• Orient the IR remote control so that its front faces the monitor/DVR receiver.
A faint click sound can be heard in the camera
• This is normal. The mechanical action of the integrated camera IR filter produces noise when switching on
(sufficient ambient brightness, colour display on the monitor) or off (ambient brightness too low, black and white
display on the monitor).
• Proximity to poorly shielded or uncovered computers or other electrical appliances
