Chain dialling

The chain dialling function is used in more complex telephone services, e.g.
for telephone banking, call-by-call or calling card procedures. The function is
used to transfer numbers stored in the phone number memory (e.g. bank
account number) while a call is actually in progress. It is also possible to
combine numbers for transfer from the phone number memory with numbers
entered manually (e.g. PIN numbers). The example below explains the use of
the chain dialling function in connection with a calling card procedure.
A calling card is a virtual telephone card. This telephone card
contains your secret PIN and calling card number.
