Making a call

A maximum of 12 digits can appear in the display. In the case
of longer phone numbers, only the last 12 digits are displayed.

It is also possible to press the Call button
first to obtain
the dialling tone for an outside line. In the case of private
branch exchanges, it is necessary to dial a specific number
(e.g. 9" or 0 ) in order to obtain the dialling tone for an outside
line (refer to Chapter 7). The phone number then entered is
dialled immediately. It is not possible to correct wrong digits
individually using this dialling procedure.

Displaying the call timer
The duration of a call is displayed in minutes and seconds during the
call.
If the call exceeds 1 hour, the call timer appears in hours and
minutes.
The call duration appears in the display 10 seconds after pressing the
Call button
, replacing the number dialled. When the call is ended,
the timer remains in the display for 5 seconds.

Adjusting the receiver volume
The volume can be adjusted to one of three settings during a call. o
the lowest setting and ooo the highest.

Redialling button
Your telephone stores the last phone number dialled.

If the phone number is also stored in the phone book, the
name and not the number automatically appears in the display.
