Telephoning Handsfree With the Base Station
A "handsfree" telephone is integrated in the base station. This means that
calls can be taken and made "handsfree" directly from the base station.

Taking a call
When a call is received, both the handset and base station ring.

Taking two calls
You will hear acoustic signals (call waiting) if a second call is received while
you are carrying out a telephone conversation. You can take the second call
and then switch between the two callers as necessary. One caller is put on
hold while you converse with the other.

It is possible to dial a second number while making a call. The first caller is
put on hold while you converse with the second person called.

Caution: The call waiting and hold call functions are optional ser-
vices provided by your telephone network provider. Contact your
network provider for further information.
To use the supplementary services offered by your telephone
network provider, set the Flash time to 300 ms (refer to
Chapter 11.3).
