Caller Number Display (CLIP Function)
The caller number display feature enables you to see who is calling when the
call is received. If this function is provided by your telephone service, the
number of the caller appears in the display when the telephone rings.
If the caller has suppressed the transmission of their phone number, the call
number does not appear in the display and, as a result, is not stored in the

calls list.

A total of 20 phone numbers can be stored in the calls list so that you will not
miss any calls even if you are absent. As soon as the list is full, the oldest
phone number is deleted from the list. If new phone numbers have been
stored in the calls list in your absence, the K icon flashes in the display.

If no phone numbers are stored in the calls list, the message
~O CLIP appears in the display. If the date and time were not transmitted,
dashes appear in the display instead of the data: 01 ----- --:--
Caution: The caller number display function is an optional service
offered by telephone network providers. The caller number ap-
pears in the display if the service is offered by your telephone
network provider. The date and time are not transmitted by all
telephone network providers. Contact your network provider for
further information. Certain private branch exchanges do not
support the transmission of the phone number or the date and
time.
