Corrective measures

The rechargeable standard batteries
are empty or defective. Replace the
rechargeable standard batteries.

Place the handset correctly in the
base station, clean the contact surfa-
ces on the handset and the base sta-
tion with a soft, dry cloth.

Caused by direct sunlight, allow hand-
set to cool down.

The caller number display function is
an optional service offered by tele-
phone network providers. The caller
number appears in the display if the
service is offered by your telephone
network provider. Contact your net-
work provider for further information.

The caller has suppressed the trans-
mission of their phone number.

The answering machine memory is full
Delete messages from the memory.

Ensure that the answering machine is
connected correctly and switched on.

Check whether the answering ma-
chine memory is full. Delete messages
from the memory, if necessary.

Check that the correct security code
has been entered for remote access.

The telephone used for remote access
must be set to tone dialling (DTMF).
