5.5.3 PC Network Adapter
The network adapter on the PC side can be configured as following:

Go to <Start> <Settings> <Network & Internet> <Change adapter options>

Click on <Properties>:

Under <This connection uses the following items> select <Internet Protocol (TCP/IPv4)> and click on
<Properties>:

Activate the radio button <Use the following IP address> and make the following settings:

used by the Thermalert 4.0 sensor by factory default

where x is an address between 0 and 255 except 134 which is already
255.255.255.0
