For the example above, the IP address of the PC is 192.168.42.1. The subnet address is 192.168.42, the host
address is 1. The subnet address for the Thermalert 4.0 sensor must be 192.168.42 as well. The host address of
the sensor must be in the range from 2 to 254 (address 1 is already used for the PC).

5.5.2.2 Reset Addressing

To reset the network settings of the sensor, power up the device for 12 s then power off. Repeat the on/off
procedure three times.
The reset sets the following parameter back to factory default:
IP Address
Subnet Mask
Gateway
A new IP address can be assign using the <IP> command.
