e) "SMS1" terminals (8)
The "SMS1" terminals (8), like the "INCALL" terminals (7), are a potential-free relay contact (N.O.; max
8 A at 250 V/AC or 24 V/DC). It is activated by SMS (see chapter: "9.4 Activating/deactivating the
"SMS1" output (8)").
8. Operation
The GSM switching module may only be operated after it has been installed
scoop-proof in the casing.
Consult a specialist if you are in doubt or have questions about the correct
operation.
After successfully installing and connecting the device, the operating voltage can be connected (4.5
V/DC to 6 V/DC).
The GSM switching module tries to log into the mobile network as soon as it is connected to the power
supply. During the log-in attempt, the "GSM" LED (2) flashes at short intervals.
If the GSM switching module is properly logged into the network, the "GSM" LED (2) flashes at 3-
second intervals.
If the PIN is incorrect or the SIM card is locked, the GSM switching module switches
itself off again after the log-in attempt.
Now assign the two telephone numbers authorised to configure the GSM switching module.
