7.3 Installation

Proceed as follows to ensure proper installation:
• Remove the four casing screws and take off the
transparent cover.
• Unscrew the two attachment screws by turning
them anti-clockwise.
• Take the GSM switching module out of the casing.
• Take the provided casing and remove the marked
feedthroughs as needed.
• Attach the provided cable glands at the cable
feedthroughs.
• The SIM card holder is located on the underside of
the GSM switching module. Insert the SIM card in
the correct position.
• The casing has four installation holes. Hold the
casing against the designated installation place.
• Mark the drill hole positions using a pencil.
• Drill the installation holes. Make sure you do not
damage any cables or lines.
• Attach the casing to the installation place using
suitable mounting material.
• Connect the aerial to the aerial connection (3). A
strip of adhesive tape is located at the end of the
aerial on the back. Pull off the adhesive tape and
attach the aerial as far away as possible from the
module.
• Now proceed with the connection.

After successful connection, put the casing cover on the casing and tighten the four
casing screws to ensure proper operation.
