PERIODONTAL SURGERY

The diamond-coated periodontal EMS instruments
are highly efficient for calculus removal on root
surfaces. Their movements produce frictional heat
which might damage hard or soft tissue. Therefore,
never use these instruments without a sufficient
irrigating liquid flow rate. Moreover, if the irrigating
liquid flow rate is too low, the instruments wear out
very quickly.
These instruments are also designed for in-depth
root debridement and root cleaning using direct
vision "Flap" (periodontal surgery).
These instruments must be used in "Standard"
mode to obtain an optimum efficiency.
Diamond coated
Instrument PE1 (coarse)
Instrument for removal of calculus from very narrow
inter-root spaces and furcations.
Instrument PE2 (coarse)
Instrument for removal of calculus, for enlarging
root furcations (odontoplasty) and for removing
restoration overhangs.
Instrument PE3 (fine)
Instrument for polishing surfaces that have been
first cleaned and shaped with instrument PE2.

Les instruments diamantés parodontaux EMS sont
hautement efficaces pour enlever le tartre des
surfaces radiculaires. Leurs mouvements génèrent
de la chaleur par friction qui pourrait endommager
des tissus durs ou mous. Pour cette raison, ne
jamais utiliser ces instruments sans un débit de
liquide d'irrigation suffisant. De plus, si le débit
de liquide d'irrigation est trop bas, les instruments
s'usent très rapidement.
Ces instruments sont également conçus pour
le débridement en profondeur et le nettoyage
des racines en vision directe "Flap" (chirurgie
parodontale).
Ces instruments doivent être utilisés en mode
"Standard" afin d'obtenir une efficacité optimum.

Instrument PE1 (abrasif)
Instrument pour l'élimination du tartre des espaces
inter radiculaires très étroits et des furcations.
Instrument PE2 (abrasif)
Instrument pour l'élimination du tartre, pour
l'élargissement de furcations radiculaires (odonto-
plastie) et pour l'élimination des rebords de restora-
tions.
Instrument PE3 (fin)
Instrument pour le lissage des surfaces qui ont été
préalablement nettoyées et mises en forme avec
l'instrument PE2.

PARODONTALCHIRURGIE

Die diamantierten parodontalen EMS Instrumente
sind höchst effizient bei der Zahnsteinentfernung
von Wurzeloberflächen. Ihre Bewegungen
erzeugen Reibungswärme, die Hart- oder Weich-
gewebe verletzen kann. Deswegen dürfen diese
Instrumente niemals ohne ausreichende Fließ-
geschwindigkeit der Spülflüssigkeit angewandt
werden. Wenn die Fließgeschwindigkeit der
Spülflüssigkeit zu gering ist, verschleißen die
Instrumente außerdem sehr schnell.
Diese Instrumente sind auch für Tiefen-Debri-
dement und Reinigung der Wurzel unter direkter
Sicht (Access Flap, Parodontalchirurgie) geeignet.
Diese Instrumente müssen im Modus "Standard"
verwendet werden, damit eine optimale Effizienz
erreicht wird.

Instrument PE1 (grob)
Instrument zur Zahnsteinentfernung aus sehr
engen Wurzelzwischenräumen und -furkationen.
Instrument PE2 (grob)
Instrument zur Zahnsteinentfernung, zur Erwei-
terung von Wurzelfurkationen (Odontoplastik) und
zur Entfernung von Restaurationsüberständen.
Instrument PE3 (fein)
Instrument zum Polieren von Oberflächen, die
vorher mit Instrument PE2 gereinigt und geformt
wurden.
