5.2 Machine positioning

WARNING: Please not that if the installation
operations are not performed correctly (boi-
ler load up), the machine operations may be
badly compromised.
· Position the machine unit onto the horizontal surface as
arranged, then carefully adjust height via the adjustable
feet. Ensure that the machine is not inclined at an angle
larger than 2°.
· Turn the main switch into its downward position (Fig.
6.1- item 6) and wait for the boiler to load up i.e. to reach
the set fi ll-up level.
· Remove the 2 fi lter baskets and activate all the groups so
that they discharge water for about 10 seconds. Repeat
this operation twice.
· Switch on the main switch by turning it into its upward
position to start heating up of the water in the boiler.

Wait until the machine has reached the required pressure
level (about 10 minutes)
· Proceed with discharging steam from the steam spouts
for about 30 seconds.
· Discharge hot water from the hot water drawing spout
by pressing on the relative pushbutton. Repeat this ope-
ration twice.
· Switch all the dispensing switches back off again.
If the machine has not been dispensing for longer than 24
hours, prior to starting operations proceed with washing
out all the internal components by repeating all the ope-
rations listed above.
