5.1 Utilities to be provided by the customer

All the utility connection operations must be conducted by
qualifi ed personnel, in full compliance of the federal, state
and/or local rules and regulations in force.

5.1.1 Power supply

The machine is supplied ready for connection to the on-site power
mains according to the specifi cations requested upon purchasing.
Prior to connecting up the machine, check to ensure that the rating
plate data is compliant with the power mains voltage data.
The power supply cable (appropriate SHUKO bi-polar cable with
T connector), that must be wholly undamaged, must be hooked
up directly into the previously prepared utility connections as per
all the rules and regulation in force.
The grounding and atmospheric overload discharge safety and
protection systems must mandatorily be executed as per all exi-
sting laws and regulations.
For connection to the power mains, implement only an up-to-
standard cable, provided with a safety (grounding) conductor
(fi g. 5.2).
In both cases, a differential switch must be arranged upstream of
the power supply cable, complete with magnetic release switches
compatible with the data provided on the machine rating plate.
We hereby remind that each machine must be provided with its
own, individual safety devices.
In the event that the power supply cable is damaged, it
must be replaced either by the manufacturer, by the manu-
facturer's technical services or by qualifi ed personnel that
is capable of preventing any possible hazards.
5.1.2 Water mains supply (Fig. 5.3)
FILL THE WATER TANK UP COMPLETELY, IN ORDER TO PREVENT
AIR-FORMATION INSIDE THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT.
In the event that the machine is to be fi tted with a water purifying
fi lter, proceed with fi rst-time installation using the self-feeding
tank then proceed with installation of the purifying fi lter in a su-
bsequent, separate session.
The machine is supplied only in the self-feeding tank version. A
transformation kit is anyway available for direct hook-up to the

water mains supply.

- Open the top hatch-door (1)
- Take a fi rm hold of the relative handgrips provided, and remove
the tank (2)
- Fill up the tank as illustrated in fi gure (3)
- Return the tank back into its position then close the top hatch
door
- The machine is now ready to start dispensing your beverages.
