• When the device is switched on, the charge status of the battery is indicated
by the two green battery charge status lamps (11). If both lamps are lit up, the
battery is full. If only the red operating lamp is lit up, the battery needs to be
charged up.
• If the suction power diminishes even though the battery is full, empty the dust
container (18).
• If the device is not going to be used for a lengthy period, take out the battery!

4. After vacuuming, switch off the device, then empty the dust container and clean it if
necessary (see the next "Cleaning and Storing the Device" chapter).
Cleaning and Storing the Device
NOTE!
■
Switch off the device before you clean it.
■
Keep the motor unit, the charging station, the turbo nozzle, the mains adapter and the
mains cable away from water or other liquids to prevent electric shocks.
■
Do not immerse the HEPA fi lter in water or rinse it under running water to prevent
damage to the fi lter. It is neither machine-washable, dishwasher-safe nor suitable for
tumble drying.
■
Accessories that are cleaned with water must be completely dry when they are in-
serted back into the device!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads. These could
damage the surfaces.
The fi lter may lose some of its colour over time. This is normal and does not
have any adverse effect on function.

1. Remove the dust container (18) from the motor unit (14).
Turn it a little to do this. It is released from the motor unit
and can be removed.
2. Hold the dust container over an open dust container. The
distance from the dust container should be as small as
possible so that the dust does not spread in the surround-
ing air.
