Cleaning and Storing the Device

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Switch off the device before you clean it.
■ Keep the motor unit, the charging station, the mains adapter and the turbo nozzle
away from water or other liquids to prevent electric shocks.
■ Do not immerse the HEPA fi lter in water or rinse it under running water to prevent
damage to the fi lter. It is neither machine-washable, dishwasher-safe nor suitable for
tumble drying.
■ Accessories that are cleaned with water must be completely dry when they are in-
serted back into the device!
■ Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads. These could
damage the surfaces.
The fi lter may lose some of its colour over time. This is normal and does not
have any adverse effect on function.

Cleaning the Filter

1. Empty the dust container (19) (see above). Do not close the bottom fl ap (26).
2. Reach into the dust container. Turn the fi lter holder (18) a little until it is released and
can be removed.

7. Let all parts dry completely in the air before you reassemble them. CAUTION: Never
assemble wet or damp components or attach them to the motor unit (15)! The
device is assembled in the reverse order.

1. Remove the dust container (19) from the motor unit (15).
Turn it a little to do this. It is released from the motor unit
and can be removed.
2. Hold the dust container over an open dust container. The
distance from the dust container should be as small as
possible so that the dust does not spread in the surround-
ing air.
3. Pull the catch of the bottom fl ap (26) away from the dust
container slightly. The bottom fl ap will open and the dirt
will fall out.
4. To close it, press the bottom fl ap onto the dust container.
The catch must be heard to engage in place.
3. Pull the HEPA fi lter (27) out of the fi lter holder.
4. Tap out both parts and clean them with a soft brush if

5. The fi lter holder can also be rinsed with clear water.
CAUTION: Do not wet-clean the HEPA fi lter!
6. Wipe out the dust container with a damp cloth if necessary.
