17. Indirect measurement
By applying the Pythagorean theorem (a
height of an object can be determined indirectly.
1. Press the function button (G) three times. A triangle is shown at the
top of the display to indicate indirect measurement.
2. Now measure both necessary distances. For the correct order,
see the following illustration or follow the flashing segments of the
indicator for indirect measurement.
