i) Selecting functional modes from the function menu
• Press the left or right arrow keys (5 or 8) to access the menu. The device will
beep to confirm your entry.
• Select a measurement mode by pressing the left or right arrow keys
(5 or 8) until the desired symbol is reached.
Press the ON / DIST / OK button (6) to switch to the selected measuring

mode or setting. This will be confirmed with a beep. The device can be
used to make additive and subtractive length measurements, surface
area measurements, and simple and double Pythagorean measurements.
Saved measurements (up to 30) can be retrieved. You can also choose the
reference edge, change the units of measurement (meters, inches, and feet)
and switch voice prompts on or off.
j) Deleting measurements
• To delete the last measurement, briefly press the OFF/C button (1).
• The displayed measurement will be reset. Press this button repeatedly to delete
other previously measured values.
Measurements in the memory cannot be deleted manually.
