• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold
room into a warm one. This may cause condensation to form, which
can destroy the product. Allow the product to reach room temperature
before connecting it and putting it into use. This may take several
hours.
• The detection results are significantly influenced by environmental
factors such as devices that generate a strong magnetic or
electromagnetic field, as well as factors such as moisture, metal
building materials, and the aluminium coating of insulating materials.
The conductivity of wallpaper, carpets or tiles also influences the
detection results.
• Using or operating the laser measurement and detection device near
appliances such as a microwave oven can affect the accuracy of the
results.
• Do not wear jewellery such as rings or watches when using the
product. Metal objects in the vicinity of the device may cause
inaccuracies in the results.
• When detecting objects with the device, always move the product over
the surface with even pressure without lifting it off.
• Make sure that you do not touch the scanned surface with your
fingers.
• Do not touch the device or the scanned surface with your hand or any
other body part.
• Always perform your search slowly to ensure the highest accuracy
and detection sensitivity.
• Do not operate the product in potentially explosive environments
where flammable liquids, flammable gases or dust are present.
Sparks can be generated in the product which may ignite the dust
or vapours.
• The ambient conditions (such as high humidity or proximity to other
electrical appliances) may affect the accuracy of the device. The
composition and condition of walls (e.g. moisture, metallic building
materials, conductive wallpapers, insulation materials and tiles) and
the number, type, size and position of measured objects may distort
the readings.
