Audio settings
BALANCE (stereo balance)
This model is only designed for mono repro-
duction; therefore, the preset value should not
be changed .
VOLUME
Press the button "Source / " to call up the set-
ting scale and use the button

MUTE
Use the button "Source / " to activate the mut-
ing function (ON = mute, MUTE will be indicated
in the top left corner of the picture) or to deac-

Use the button "Source / " to select the desired
menu language (available languages: English,
Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Italian and
Russian) .
H-POSITION (horizontal shift of menu)
Press the button "Source / " to call up the set-
ting scale and use the button

menu to the left . To return to the menu page,
press the button "Menu / OK" .
V-POSITION (vertical shift of menu)
Press the button "Source / " to call up the set-
ting scale and use the button
menu downwards or the button
menu upwards . To return to the menu page,
press the button "Menu / OK" .
DURATION
To define the time the menu remains displayed
after a button was pressed . The duration defined
will also apply to other on-screen displays out-
side the menu . Press the button "Source / " to
call up the setting scale and use the button
to set the duration (in seconds) . To return to
the menu page, press the button "Menu / OK" .

Depending on the video source, the menu page

Additional functions
To improve the video quality in case of noise
in the picture, a noise filter can be activated
in three levels . Use the button "Source / " to
select the level: LOW, MID, HIGH or OFF .
To eliminate noise in the picture due to MPEG
video compression, an MPEG noise filter can
be activated in two levels . Use the button
"Source / " to select the level: LOW, HIGH or OFF .
