other purposes than originally intended, if they
are not correctly connected or operated, or if
they are not repaired in an expert way .
If the units are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful
to the environment .

Applications
The TFT LCD monitor TFT-800LED with LED back-
light is ideally suited for surveillance systems, but
it can also be used for other purposes, e . g . for
multimedia applications . It has a built-in speaker for
audio reproduction . The monitor offers an HDMI
input, a VGA input and a composite video input
(BNC connector) .
The following accessories are supplied: An in-
frared remote control, a support, a power supply
unit and one cable each for HDMI connection and
audio connection .
4
Installation
1) Screw the support (see fig . 2) to the monitor by
means of the mounting screw (C) . Use either
the threaded hole (B) on the lower edge of the
monitor or the flat nut (A) in the guide rail on
the rear of the monitor .
2) To install the monitor in an upright position,
remove the adhesive film on the lower side
of the support and attach the support to the
surface . Alternatively, to improve the stability,
fasten the support by means of the four screws
provided .
For wall installation, use the four screws to
fasten the support on the wall .
3) Release the screw (D) on the side of the support,
incline the monitor as desired and fasten the
screw again .

Connections
5.1 Digital input
The monitor is equipped with an HDMI input (6) for
digital connection of a signal source . If the source
offers an HDMI output (e . g . on a recorder), this
output should be preferred; the video quality of
a digital connection is usually higher . A suitable
connection cable is provided . Both video and audio
data are transmitted via this connection .
5.2 Analog inputs
– If the video source sends its video signal via a
VGA output (e . g . computer), connect the output
TM
to the VGA input (7) via a VGA connection cable .
– If the video source sends a composite video signal
(e . g . a surveillance camera), connect the video
output of the source to the BNC input VIDEO (8),
e . g . via a 75 Ω cable of the series BNC-... from
MONACOR .
Audio connection: Either the sound of the source
connected to the input VGA or the sound of the
source connected to the input VIDEO can be re-
produced . Connect the audio output of the corre-
sponding source to the input AUDIO (9) . A stereo
audio cable is supplied for connection . The monitor
is designed for monophonic audio reproduction;
therefore, the left channel and the right channel
of a stereo signal will be internally combined to a
mono signal .
5.3 Power supply
Connect the power supply unit provided to the
power supply jack (5) and to a mains socket (230 V/
50 Hz) . The monitor is switched on as soon as it
is supplied with power via the power supply unit .
6
Operation
This chapter only refers to operation via the re-
mote control (1) . The functions of the buttons (4)
on the monitor are identical to the functions of
the corresponding buttons on the remote control
(

chapter 1 .1) . Therefore, the buttons on the
monitor can be used instead of the buttons on
the remote control .
