8. Assembling the Model

Before you commence assembly, please read through each individual section. For better understanding, an illustration has been included which
represents the section of assembly described.
Please note that the numbers in the text always refer to the components in the illustration on the right.
Only carry out the work on the sections concerned when you have understood how to proceed correctly and when you know exactly what you have
to observe when working.
a) Gluing the Fuselage Halves Together
Before you glue together the right (1) and left (2) halves of the fuselage together
you should check that the two elements fit together well (without glue) and if
necessary use sandpaper to ensure the contacting surfaces fit flush together.
Apply rigid foam glue onto the contacting surfaces (3) of the two fuselage
halves and stick the two halves exactly together.
Fix the fuselage halves into place with adhesive tape until the glue has
hardened.
