CONNECTING UP THE BATTERY
Note! As the charging clips are not live (no sparking), the battery
need not be disconnected from the power supply when connecting
the battery. However, be sure to connect each charging clip to the
correct battery terminal.
- Connect charging clip

DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY

To disconnect the battery charger from the battery or motorcar
supply system, proceed as follows:
- Depending on the type of unit: Shift the selector switch
"0" position or press the Stop button
- Unplug the mains plug
- Remove the

CHARGING THE BATTERY

1. Charge
- Plug in mains plug
Note! Please note that under certain operating conditions, the fan
may run at a variable speed. However, the battery is still being
charged correctly.
- Only on Acctiva 12/24-20: Shift selector switch
depending on the type of battery
- Connect charging clips to the correct terminals as described
above.
- "Charge" indicator

The battery is 80 - 85 % full and therefore ready for use.
2. Final charge
- "Final Charge" indicator

To charge battery up to100 %, keep it connected to the charger
for another 6 hours.
3. Compensation charge
- "Compensation Charge" indicator
After completing the final charge, the battery charger automat-
ically switches over to compensation charge to prevent the
battery from running down. The battery may remain connected
to the charger for any length of time.
Note! It is possible to run appliances connected to the battery (e.g.
car radio) during the charge. Please note that recharging will take
rather longer in this case.
