This brochure is intended to familiarise you with the operation of
your battery charger. It is in your own interest to read the brochure
carefully and follow the instructions given exactly - so as to prevent
malfunctions and operating errors. This will help to ensure that
your battery charger continues to give you constant service for
years to come. It is imperative that you read the section "Safety
Regulations" before you start using your battery charger.

INTENDED USE
- according to the position of the selector switch
charger is designed to charge batteries filled with liquid or
fixed electrolyte in GEL or sealant.
- Switch position "Middle": For charging batteries filled with
liquid electrolyte (Pb-antimony, -Ca, -Ca silver, MF)
- Switch position "Top": For charging batteries with fixed elec-
trolyte in GEL or sealant (GEL, AGM, MF)
Attention! The charging of primary cells (dry or disposable
batteries) is not permitted.
SELECTING THE OPERATING MODE
Attention! Disconnect mains supply and battery before
changing the operating mode.
- The operating mode selector switch
behind the ventilation louvers of the right side-piece, near the
front panel.

- Poke a suitable screwdriver (diam. 2.5 mm or smaller) through
one of the ventilation louvers to shift the selector switch
the position for the operating mode that you require.
Switch position
"Top" ..... For charging batteries with fixed electrolyte in
GEL or sealant (GEL, AGM, MF)
"Middle".. For charging batteries filled with liquid electrolyte
(factory setting; Pb-Antimon, -Ca, -Ca Silver, MF)
"Bottom".. For back-up supply mode
