Safety instructions when using with a car
General
Connecting to
Connect (+) charger lead/terminal to positive pole on battery

Set the desired characteristic type by repeatedly pressing the Stop key (6)
According to the characteristic selected, the indicators will light up differently (see
section „characteristic parameters" on the penultimate page of these instructions or, in
the case of special characteristics, in the enclosed leaflet ).
The newly selected characteristic is displayed (example illustrated 1010)
NOTE! If no buttons are pressed for 10 seconds, the device stores the selected
characteristic and goes into idle.
WARNING! Risk of injury and damage from exposed, rotating vehicle parts.
When working in the vehicle's engine compartment, take care that hands, hair,
items of clothing and charger leads do not come into contact with moving parts,
e.g. fan belt, fan, etc.
Observe the instructions and safety information in the owner's manual.
NOTE! As the charging lines are not live (no sparking), you do not need to
disconnect the battery charger from the power supply when connecting it up
with the battery.
