19. Adding rectangular areas

1. Press the area measurement button (I) five times. A rectangle with
an adjacent parallelogram appears left in the display.
2. Activate the target laser (B) by pressing the ON/DIST button (C).
3. Measure the first side length. The reading is shown in the violet line.
4. Measure the second side length. The reading is shown in the blue
line.
5. The device multiplies both readings automatically. The total area is
shown in the bottom line.
6. Continue measuring other areas based on the same principle.
7. The sum of all areas measured is shown in the white line.
